Rondo has increased the service hole of the 1.15bmt Studs from 32mm to 34mm. Electricians and plumbers often need to install grommets into the service hole. By making the service hole larger, Rondo is not only protecting the services that are passing through the stud, they are also catering for varying grommet sizes.

Rondo’s 1.15bmt Studs with 34mm service holes will be available in 64, 76, 92 and 150mm widths, and will seamlessly take the place of current product as stocks run out. There will therefore be no changes to product part numbers. 

Although Rondo does not sell grommets, they are readily available from both plumbing and electrical trade suppliers.
