Mission Zero is Rondo's social and environmental brand which assists to achieve defined targets of health, safety, and the working environment of our people. In doing so Rondo aims to systematically reduce the environmental footprint of our operations for a more sustainable future.
Rondo’s Mission Zero Initiatives:
- achieving environmental certification with Lloyds;
- opening the new facility at Erskine Park that has more environmentally friendly with improved safety facilities;
- implementing industry-leading site safety standards which are adhered to internationally;
- reducing the real consumption of steel;
- investing in more environmentally friendly forklifts and machinery;
- paper recycling and other waste reduction.
Zero is a big goal for Rondo, but by constantly seeking improvement and focusing our efforts, resources and attention on Mission Zero, we can and will take incremental steps to achieving our goal.
