Rondo receives Bronze Partnership Award

On the 5th of June, Rondo accepted the Bronze Partnership Award from Hon Carmel Tebbutt MP, who is the NSW Deputy Premier and Minister for Climate Change and the Environment. Out of 300 organisations that applied, Rondo is one of 13 businesses to be handed the award and the first to gain this title in the Metal Industry.

Rondo Relocates National Facility

Located in the Fitzpatrick Industrial Estate at Erskine Park in the Penrith City Council area, some 45km west of the Sydney CBD, Rondo’s new facility is now under construction by FDC Construction and Fitout on behalf of Fitzpatrick Investments Pty Ltd and is due for completion in September 2009. This purpose built facility, with a building foot print approaching 43,000m2 on a 66,000m2 site, will accommodate in excess of 170 people.

The relocation will allow Rondo to grow its manufacturing capacity by more than 50%, provide world class distribution capabilities and opportunities to grow into adjacent markets, while achieving considerable operational efficiencies not possible at the current St Mary’s site.
