The $630 million Bendigo Hospital project, completed in 2016 is a modern redevelopment with over 500 patient unit beds, 11 operating theatres, a helipad, Regional Integrated Cancer Centre, 128 hotel rooms and will also include conference facilities, retail shops and cafes.
Rondo has been a major asset to the project providing reputable advice, technical design solutions and fortnightly inspections, ensuring the development was on track and our systems were installed correctly. Our Technical Services Team supported Rondo Victoria in providing assistance to project architects Bates Smart Architects and Silver Thomas Hanley and builder Lend Lease improve comprehensive designs for all internal walls and ceilings for the project.
Rondo had supplied over 20,000m² DUO® Grid Ceiling System, KEY-LOCK® Ceiling System, MAXIjamb® Stud for all large door and window opens internally, 92mm x 0.75BMT Stud & Tack for all internal walls, totalling more than 50,000 studs. Along with the supply of these products, our Technical Services Team also provided on-site solutions, large window and door openings, lead lined walls, pressurised rooms and external soffit ceilings.
